I figured this out yesterday as Rob and I were talking about my perfectionistic tendencies:
I don't try to be perfect to be MORE than human...
I try to be perfect to BE human.
I am still trying to figure out what that means because...duh...obviously a human...but not sure I believe I am a person...if that makes any sense...

It makes perfect sense, Deneice.
Human, as in biological species, isn't in question. (At least, I don't think so, you've never posted a pic lol! You COULD be an alien, or from New Jersey...)
Anyway, I think its less of a question of biology as it is a question of belonging. Essentially, it seems that you don't think you measure up somehow, and you think everyone else does.Having seen your heart here for so long,I know that your view of yourself inside is as warped as your view of yourself in the mirror. What is right and good with yourself, you see as incomplete and lacking.
It's not that you need to try harder to be part of humankind. No. We are blessed and privileged to have YOU among US. And that's the truth of the matter.
